Ollie enjoyed his first trip to Ohio, where...
The Giammo side of the family enjoyed a very veggie-rich Thanksgiving dinner at Nonna and Papa's house.
Stephen and Rockam "camped" together in the guestroom. Joe, Ollie and I slept upstairs.
Ollie was happy to be passed from lap to lap.
We attempted a great-grandchildren picture.
These are the only two in which Rockam is looking up from Joe's iPhone.
Oliver tried out a new perspective on life.
And discovered his feet are attached.
The boys, Nonna, Cris, Tzurielle, and I visited the Willoughby nature center in the Metroparks.
It was good to get out after all the non-stop lounging and eating.
Rocky rode a frog and made lots of noise.
I indulged my nature photography habit, capturing goldfinches in winter plumage...
...a preening house finch...
and a skittish tufted titmouse.
Stephen and Rockam played with big stuffed fish,
and hid in tree stumps
while Ollie slept through it all.
Stephen joined me in watching the critters.
He was surprised that the squirrel was able to pillage this feeder.
And, of course, everyone had fun with snow.
It was actually in the mid 40s, so it was the perfect weather for crunching around outside.

I didn't take photos at our Parrino gathering-- somehow the boys kept me too busy. However, we enjoyed a delicious day-after-Thanksgiving dinner made by Joe's cousin Maria... including really yummy fresh cranberry sauce. Perhaps Maria can send me some of the shots she took of the evening?
