Backyard life

These three Robinlets are visible from our kitchen window. Mama Robin has been working her feathers ragged to feed them.

Joe was able to get an up close and personal shot of cozy cramped life of near-fledglings.

This morning I watched the last of three baby birds fledge. Now mama is busy feeding them way up high in our neighbor's Spruce.

In other critter news, I was adding some hydrangea "food" to one of our shrubs this morning when I noticed some of the soil seemed to be alive.

We have a resident toad!

Birchwood 5K- Steve's first race

Rockam ran the 1K Shuffle. He's giving me the side eye before he starts.

Eventually, to get Rockam to run, we all had to run/walk it.

Stephen probably ran 5K before the race started, chasing his buddy Lorn.
