Portrait sitting... er... lying

Oliver still has a bit of a crusty nose, but he's feeling a lot better after a bad Christmas cold.

There was some beautiful morning sun coming in the bedroom window, so I decided to take the boys' photos.

Ollie made many interesting faces.

And showed off his amazing faux hawk.

Here's the side angle.

Happy boy.

Sticking out that tongue!

Discovering toes.

Cute little chub cheeks.

Mommy got too close; made Ollie's eyes cross.

This is the one for the frame.

Chewy chewy chompy chompy.

Noms.

Guuuh.

Joined by biggest brother...

And grabber claw.

Here's Stephen's portrait.

He insisted on holding on to the claw.

Hug time.

Joined by medium brother for some chewy chewy chompy chompy time.

Cheeeeeeese. Rocky has crazy hair and crazy teeth.

Blogger insists this picture be sideways.

"Oh, that's a NICE baaabyyyyy!"

"Let me smudge your lens, Mama!"

A rare calm moment.

Rockam's portrait. Yes, that's Ollie's fuzzy head in the corner.

Stephen's backyard dreams

Son One shows off his latest artwork, a collaborative process. Can you tell what's going on in this picture?

I helped Stephen with the stick boys and the tree branches, but he did the rest.

Conversations

As I was getting out of the shower just now, I heard a lot of commotion outside the bathroom door.

Stephen: Rockam, you hide in your room and I'll hide in mine.
Rockam: OKaaay!
Stephen: Now close your door. All the way. Rockam! Can you close the door?
Rockam: No I don't want it
Stephen: Oh,Ok then let's hide from mommy
Rockam: OK (laughing)
Stephen: Here, you hide in the closet
Rockam: (raucous laughter)
Stephen: Rockam! Can you stop laughing?
Rockam: Bwahaa haaa haa-Noooo-hahahaha
Stephen: Ok. Rockam let's hide under the blanket.
Rockam: (giggle giggle)
Stephen: Get in here!
Rockam: (Giggle squeals)
Both: Stifled laughter
Me: Now where did my boys go? Where could they be?

Rocky: I scary!
Stephen: Mom! Can you take a picture.
Me: I just did.
Stephen: Mom! Take a picture of me with a blanket on my head
Me: I did, honest.

Sharing a room

Two nights ago, we moved Ollie into his real crib. Rocky was ecstatic to have a roommate again.

Oliver's five month faces

Oliver looks so pitifully cute when he's upset...
