Bedtime with three

The boys were all wiped out last night, except Oliver who got a second wind right before I deposited Stephen and Rockam in their beds. Ollie followed me from room to room with his musical zebra!

Recent Stephen-isms

Don't ask me what he's doing here. I thought it was unusual enough to warrant a picture though!

***

Stephen said a couple days ago: "When I'm ten, Oliver will be four and then he can go to preschool! But first he'll need to have potty training. And maybe karate training."

***
Last night, I met with Stephen's teacher for parent-teacher conferences. She had plenty of good things to say about his behavior and progress. She was impressed with his vocabulary in particular, adding that when the class does a game where she calls out a letter and each student needs to come up with a word beginning with the letter, Stephen always thinks up a word no one else has.

Also, he's doing well in math. He might be 3rd percentile for height, but he scored 99th percentile on the standardized math test.

Ollie's 15 month appointment

Look who's eating a banana for the third time!!!

Oliver's appointment Wednesday went pretty well, considering how he's starting to understand he gets shots at the end. He was saying "bye bye" to the nurse.

Here's the facts:
4 teeth, two breaking through
Length 30 inches 16th percentile
Weight 19 10 oz 2nd percentile
Head 40th percentile
MMR
Penticil
Flu vaccine booster
And a renewed prescription for eczema cream...

And a side note:

Rocky succumbed to peer pressure from his preschool friend, Kathryn, and ate an apple on Tuesday :)

Three brothers in a boat

Post trip free-build.

Stephen's creations

Pretending to be R2D2-- or a paraplegic phantom of the opera.

Inventions before school.

Stephen made a dragon... Little bro watches.

He wanted orange juice, so I let him make some.

Making his protege. Note that all Rockam's clothes are on the right way; this is because Steve dressed him!

Sticky stucky

Some things Oliver's been up to last week: feeding himself oatmeal and....

Exploring new nooks and crannies...

Yes at this point he was calling for help, but I couldn't resist taking some photos first!
