Yumm-us.

Stephen recently discovered hummus. It's not like I haven't tried to get him to eat it before, it's just that this time around he saw that I was eating it by dipping a carrot into it. He used the same little carrot to polish off the remainder of an unattended tub. He never did eat the carrot though!
A few months ago, clementines were on sale and all of us Parrinos were chowing down on them. Lately, oranges have been pretty pricey, so whenever Stephen asks for them, I have to turn him down. Well, they finally went on sale and so I bought a couple. This morning, I told Stephen he had to wear a bib if he was going to eat oranges because they're messy. He looks down at his bib then looks up at me: "Mommy need a bib too!" Stephen is crazy about oranges... I had to stop him before he ate the peel... notice the little bite marks along the edge in the photo.

More make believe and fuzzy friends

He decided to teach his bear how to play bongos with two toy screwdrivers.
He wanted to use his own office chair when working on the computer, so Joe's chair was pushed aside.

Stephen has still been in make-believe mode. Before this photo was snapped, he shouted "I'm a crane! I'm a crane!"
And he had some fun on the big bumpy slide at Project Playground. He likes it best when he has it all to himself.

"I'm a Yah-rus!"

The conversation that goes with this photo, taken just a couple of minutes ago:
Me: Stephen, take the chopstick out of your mouth.
Stephen: I'm a Yar-us! I'm a Yar-us!!
Me: You're a Walrus?
Stephen: Yeah. (gags, smiles really big and throws chopsticks on the ground.)

"I bow buh-buls!"

Mmm. Tastes like flowers!

This photo is a week or two old... but I just got it off my phone and onto my computer. I was pretty impressed Stephen could blow bubbles. Usually his attempts involve putting the wand in his mouth and blowing out soapy spit. He made a pretty good bubble in this photo!

Bouncing Boy

Joe took this awesome video from a worm's eye with X-ray vision view :-)Who knew you could see right through a trampoline mat if you lie beneath it?!

Sorry Grammie and Nona, he does get what appears to be dangerously close to the edge a couple of times.

I'm definitely a delinquent blogger these days. Stephen is just as cute as always, I just don't get around to capturing the cuteness as much any more.

He's definitely taking off in language skills, as you can tell from all his little shout outs from the trampoline. A minute ago he just said, "Change diaper, Mommy?" and after the fresh diaper was applied, "Dank- you. Snuggle wit chu, Mommy?"

We're still working on the potty training... he's peed once and pooped once on his frog potty. But I'll spare you the cellphone pic I took of that landmark accomplishment. :-)
