Attempts at a Family Photo...

Unfortunately, these were mostly failed attempts! On Saturday, we went with Joe's parents down to Nashville to meet up with some friends of ours, who happened to be in town for a big convention at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. It's a big rambling place with tons of shops and eateries scattered throughout several different atriums. I thought it might be a good place to take a family photo now that we are a family of five. The place was good, but we just weren't.  Here's some of the photos anyhow:

This is one of the better ones, but poor Oliver looks like he's dripping out of Joe's arm and the boys are obviously being entertained by Papa.

This one would have been good, but Joe's just beginning to blink (or fall asleep). Rockam is obviously saying "Cheese."

Now Stephen is saying "cheese" and Oliver decided to peek with one eye.

It's all downhill from here, folks. Joe and I break the cardinal rule of picture posing by talking... and we pay for it.

In an effort to keep the boys from wiggling free of our portrait sitting, Joe makes them look up. I, realizing how dumb this will look, continue to stare straight at Joe's mom, who mercifully keeps taking pictures.

Stephen is getting worn out; Rockam gets up to leave.

Yeah. So maybe we'll have better luck next time!

Joe and Kevin's photo turned out nicely though!
