Ollie eats

Since Oliver's 6 mo. check up, I've been trying to get him to eat some solid foods. This video shows uncommon success... usually most of the meal ends up on Ollie's chest.

Oliver at 6 months

Yesterday Oliver and I braved the 9 degree chill outside and went to his 6 month appointment.

After being ill for much of December, I guess I hadn't been feeding him as well as in the past... So my big guy is no longer big for his age :(

15 lbs 13 oz: 20th weight

26 1/8 inches: 39th height

58th percentile head circumference

Poor Ollie also got three shots and an oral vaccination. This is him after the shots and a good bit of screaming.

Now the task is to keep pushing the solids-- something else Ollie doesn't like yet.

20-22 weeks: grabbing, banging, masticating, knocking over and generally destroying anything within arm's reach.
