Joe and I enjoyed a lunch downtown at Michael Symon's restaurant Lola!! without children!! So excited!!
My scallops, with prosciutto, chanterelles, pea shoots and two kinds of asparagus. (Please note, Lola is a very dimly lit restaurant.)
Joe had pork schnitzel with Dijon cabbage, potatoes and country bacon. This was very good... But the flat leaf parsley didn't make sense. I think dill weed would've been better.
We also had the beef cheek pierogi - no picture; it was too good. Melty and creamy and crisp and meaty with sautéed mushrooms on top.
