Something we got to do a lot of on both trips was seeing old "cronies."
We met with my very good friend, Priscilla Barton, and her daughter, Madelynn, at the Village Creamery in Skokie. Joe had halo-halo, Stephen had chocolate, Priscilla had maize and coconut and I had ube (taro).
After we cooled off with ice cream, we attempted to take a group shot at the park across the street. The park, incidentally, was awesome. The groups shots weren't.
It was above 100 degrees nearly the entire time we were in Chicago.

We did manage to sneak a few cute shots of Rock and Madelynn together on the slide.
The park included this DDR type of game involving music and running around to push lighted buttons. Pretty wild!
And, Stephen's favorite, a digger with lots of messy sand.
