Charlotte

We spent our first couple of days of vacation in Asheville, N.C., then headed to Charlotte to visit my Uncle Greg and Aunt Susan. They took us for a lovely walk on a trail near their house. The boys enjoyed riding in our new (used) double jogging stroller. In addition to seeing ducks, fish, tadpoles and a yellow bird on whose identity we still haven't come to a consensus, we also took a detour to Trader Joe's and Yoforia --all in walking distance from their townhome. These Tilsches really knew how to pick the ideal place to live!

Bonding

For our trip, I bought Rockam a playmat with dangly toys.

He's tried it out and likes it.

Sometimes I prop Rockam up with the throw pillows and make a little play table for him with a blanket and some toys. It usually entertains him for a little while...
